On the trail toward TGS Camp’s Northern Gate… ¶
Nightfall was approaching once again in the Great Swamp, as three young, beautiful women were on their latest excursion through the jungle trails, the fallen branches and leaves crunching with each step along the trail, the sun’s golden rays slowly dimming as the three ravishing explorers continued their trek through the darkening jungle. As the darkness grew, the swamp had begun enveloping them in a thick fog, something that would routinely occur deep in the night, or at the brink of dawn. Thankfully, all three women were equipped with flashlights, courtesy of Aiko, the owner of the Great Swamp camp and the current leader of today’s expedition.
- “Wow… I didn’t realize it was this dark out already…”
The slender, Asian woman said her thoughts aloud as she adjusted her red, short-sleeved crop-top shirt and jean shorts. While looking down at her black sneakers, Aiko looked back at the companion that was right behind her; her secretary, Miranda, who had worn her usual ‘office lady’ attire, despite there being more convenient outfits in her wardrobe to choose from, but Aiko didn’t mind that. The third woman following behind the black-haired secretary was Samantha, a woman who preparedly dressed lightly in the humid, jungle environment (purple crop-top tank top, jean shorts that showed off her shapely rear, and black sneakers), whom Aiko and Miranda had earlier in the day noticed about to leave the swamp ahead of them, and the lady with bushy violet hair agreed to join the two, at least for today. Thankfully, Miranda was able to quickly (well, as quickly as one can while wearing high heels) grab a spare flashlight from the camp’s main building. When Samantha was offered one of the flashlights, she only gave a confused stare and responded with “Where are we going with these?” to which the Asian woman explained to her that they would be for in case it got too dark out while outside the camp, an assumed outcome that proved to be taking place.
- “Well… it’s a good thing we have these flashlights…”
Miranda spoke softly, turning her flashlight on, the beaming white light in her hand piercing the fog-shrouded darkness. The secretary’s breaths were at a faster pace than her companions’; it was uncommon for her to be out in the swamp at night, if at all. The anxious feeling of being trapped in the dark, surrounded by many a danger, was a difficult burden to bear, one that the other explorers shared. Aiko and Samantha shone their lights as well, providing a small, glowing haven as they continued their trek toward their home. Meanwhile, the sun had fully set over the swamp, and the cloudless sky was continuing to darken; the fog only grew thicker and thicker, and the trail ahead was getting increasingly difficult to see, even with the guiding lights in the travelers’ hands.

- “You think if we turned our flashlights off, we could maybe see the stars?” Samantha asked her companions in both a curious and sarcastic tone.
- “Please don’t,” Aiko hurriedly replied, clearly unamused by the violet-haired woman’s biting remark, “It’s… it’s not a risk I want to take. We’re already in hot water by being out here after dark.”
- “Hot water with who? Aren’t you the boss?” Samantha wittily retorted, her deep contralto voice never breaking from its deadpan tone.
- “Well, it wouldn’t make us look good if people saw us wandering around at night, despite us always saying not to.” Miranda chimed in, attempting to meaningfully contribute to the current conversation.
The three travelers’ walk through the dark, foggy swamp was slow. All three kept their wits about them, keeping their eyes open for any dangers that could come out and attack them, any creatures of the night stirring in the shadows, watching them, waiting for the ideal time to strike when the trekkers were most vulnerable. But, even still, the three of them continued walking; only seldom did they make conversation, creating ripples in the swamp’s eerie, foreboding ambience. Even with her eyes darting all around at her surroundings, Aiko made sure that the path she was treading wasn’t, in truth, an alluring yet deadly trap, one that would quickly swallow her or her company whole, leaving not a trace behind but her soft screams echoing through the misty abyss. It wouldn’t be long before the three drifters in the night would return to see through the fog a steel fence as tall as the palm trees surrounding it, which protected them and the rest of the camp’s patrons from the dangers waiting in the shadows of the swamp.
- “Well… it looks like we made it…” Miranda spoke, breaking the ghostly ambience with a whimper of relief.
- “Not so fast… why is the gate locked?” Samantha spoke up, rudely pushing the secretary out of the way as she pointed her flashlight toward the lock that kept the gate closed, preventing the now-outsiders from entering the camp.
- “Wait… the gate’s locked?” Aiko’s eyes lit up with dread as she walked over to the lock, examining it with one hand, beaming her light at it with the other.
- “Well, do you have a key, Aiko?” Miranda asked softly.
- “Wait, Miranda, I thought you did…” Aiko responded, raising an eyebrow as she gazed back at the spectacled secretary.
- “Wait… wait… neither of you have keys?” Samantha asked in a fit of surprise.
- “Look… look, before we start panicking…” Aiko continued, trying as she could to ease her party’s nerves.
- “Probably should have thought to have a way to get back into camp before picking up hitchhikers, AND having a talk about being out after dark.” Samantha rolled her eyes, sighing. The regret of accompanying the camp owner and her secretary was all but present on her face.
- “In our defense…” The Asian woman spoke up…
- “‘Our…?’” Miranda interrupted. It was not entirely in the secretary’s agenda to be outside the camp for as long as she was, and her Aiko to group her into the latter’s lapse in judgement was somewhat insulting.
- Aiko sighed in exasperation, “Alright, in my defense… I warned both of you that we could potentially be outside the camp after dark. I know we probably could have cut some time with the exploration, but I didn’t think we’d be stuck trying to save FIVE naked women from drowning over in the Northern Peat Bogs…”
- “Yeah… those gals had a death wish… but… sometimes we have to be heroes…” Samantha let out a sigh. Wasting precious time on a needless rescue mission was also not in the violet-haired woman’s agenda either.
- “Look, I… I have an idea!” Aiko spoke up as she stepped back from the lock toward her companions. “Earlier today, Tara told me that she saw Vicky and Sandra going out the Eastern gate by themselves, but…”
- “That one will probably be locked too?” Samantha interrupted, doubtfully raising an eyebrow.
- “Actually, no.” The Asian woman replied, a small smirk of confidence growing on her face. “Most nights, Miranda or I end up having to lock that gate, as they always forget to do so themselves.”
- “So… I guess that solves it… we just go toward the East gate, then?” Miranda spoke up as she let out a shrug.
- “Correct.” Aiko nodded in confidence, beckoning the others to follow her as she began her march toward what she believed would be the camp’s Eastern gate.
- “Knowing my luck, this’ll be the one night those two bimbos actually remember to lock the gate behind them…” Samantha cynically commented to herself, rightfully perceiving that their streak of misfortune would continue through the lasting night.
As if fate itself were to interfere with the travelers’ progress, as they walked along the frosty, steel fencing, the fog surrounding the party was growing thicker and thicker, the path ahead becoming almost impossible to view, even with the flashlights in the girls’ hands. Even still, the three of them continued forward, and as they did, Samantha quickly glanced over at the fence, perhaps in the hope of seeing what the other guests at the camp were up to, maybe even get their attention and help them get inside… but to the violet-haired traveler’s shock, as she shone her light through the fence, she saw nothing.

- “What the…” Samantha muttered in confusion. Clearly her eyes were deceiving her…
Samantha tried staring past the fence, hoping to find something past the barrier of solid metal… but still, she only saw nothing… nothing but a faint sight of trees obscured by the thick fog that had engulfed her. This could not be right… Surely there had to have been something behind the fence in her view… but there was not…
- “Uhhh… guys…? We… we might have a problem here…” Samantha uttered aloud, hoping her companions were listening…
Alas, Samantha was only met with silence. Aiko and Miranda remained on the trail, acting as if nothing was wrong. The Asian woman’s single-minded desire to find the next available gate into the camp blinded her to the fact that not all was as it seemed tonight…
- “Hey… are you two bitches even listening, oh… fuck this…” Samantha grumbled in annoyance. Clearly, the poor woman had no patience being trapped out here in the dark, with two women that she could have easily declined following through the treacherous jungle.
Clumsily stumbling through the jungle, the irate wanderer continued forward, hastily treading through thorny bushes and low-hanging branches in the blind hope of reuniting with her companions. The further forward Samantha carried herself, the more the foliage ahead cut her up, leaving large wounds all over her exposed arms and legs, and even ripping away her tank top, leaving her totally topless as she had no choice but to discard the shredded piece of clothing.
- “Ugh… so much for that shirt… I hope all these cuts don’t leave a bunch of scars…” Samantha grumbled to herself as she finally brushed away the last of the foliage before entering what looked to be a small, seemingly innocent clearing.
- “Samantha, what are you doing?” Aiko annoyedly huffed as she shone her light toward the sharp foliage; bits and pieces of her guest’s shirt were scattered aimlessly about, as the violet-haired woman continued regardless.
As the aimless wanderer continued forward, her ample, sweat-coated bosom swaying up and down as she left the sharp foliage behind her, the dusty ground beneath the woman’s feet began to feel… softer… softer, yes… as the goopy, golden sand, which appeared to be as if Samantha could easily walk on it without concern, quickly swallowed the poor girl up to her ankles, each step forward now a struggle to avoid being trapped entirely in the deep, warm sand.
- “Nnnnghhh… what the…?” The lone woman exclaimed, a little surprised at how unstable the ground felt as she stepped forward. Shining her flashlight down at her feet, Samantha could only let out a huffed sigh in annoyance, realizing what she had unwittingly gotten herself into. “Quicksand… of course…”
Even if the path ahead seemed too deep to cross, the last thing the lone wanderer wanted was to be slashed at by the low-hanging growth behind her, as it would leave her with even more cuts and wounds, notably on her exposed chest. Begrudgingly, Samantha took another step forward into the warmth of the mire, the next one causing her left leg to slip down to her shin. Again, she took yet another step, her right foot slipping down to her knee.
- “Nnnnngh… this stuff better not be any deeper…” Samantha sighed, taking another step forward, and another… and another… until her shapely legs slipped down to thigh-deep in the sand pit’s center.
At this point, Samantha could not move herself any further, her sweat-coated, gorgeous form shifting ever deeper in the quivering sand, as it squelched and shifted around the trapped damsel…
- “Ugh… not now… I… what the hell… no… I can’t be stuck here… not now…”
Eventually, Aiko and Miranda came about to the edge of the quicksand, making sure not to step in any of the deeper areas, as they witnessed the topless damsel trapped in the golden, wet sand.
- “Samantha… how did you…?” Aiko rolled her eyes in annoyance. “Sinking already…?”
- “Uh-huh… no… You two are just getting taller. Get me out, you bitches!” Samantha wittedly snarked back.
- “If you’re going to be so rude about it, then…” Miranda retorted, almost considering leaving the ill-tempered damsel to perish in the sand.
- “Well… I… I don’t really see anything around you that we can use to…” Aiko stuttered, shining her light up above Samantha, looking for any vines she could use to save her desperate companion.

As Aiko and Miranda tried to hatch a half-hearted plan, Samantha grunted in despair as she waved her flashlight all around her, only to see that she had only slipped deeper into the hungry trap, the bottomless trap hastily sucking down on her shapely butt. Her plump rear shook back and forth, wiggling helplessly as the violet-haired damsel shone her light toward the thorny bushes around her, examining them, noting which were out of her reach and which she might grab… no matter how slim the chance.
- “Nngh… come on… there’s got to be something around here that I can grab onto… I mean… there usually is… how else can anyone at this swamp actually survive more than a day…”
- “Well… wherever it is… it’d be somewhere out in the swamp…” Aiko replied, unsure of what to say, or what to do.
- “Wait… are you… suggesting we leave her here?” Miranda gasped, almost about to step into the quicksand herself, only for the Asian woman to quickly grab her arm to stop her.
- “Look, Samantha, there’s really nothing we can do that would endanger the two of us…” Aiko tried to explain, the words slowly leaving her.
- “Except you leaving, anyway… Why do you not trust your precious secretary to risk her life for me, your Plus One?” Samantha barbed, looking over at the secretary in scorn.
- “Ugh… just… we’ll be back… we’ll be… come on, Miranda…” Aiko replied, as Miranda silently followed behind, only looking on in silence as the violet-haired damsel continued her unwilling descent…
- “I… I should have known… but it’s okay… I… I can get out of this myself…”
The sinking damsel could only anxiously ramble on, her generous hips easily shifting into the bubbling quicksand… small pockets of air rising from the depths below as the sand continued to devour its prey.
- “No… this is bad… uhhh… help…?”
Samantha fruitlessly cried out into the darkness, but there was no one to listen. Aiko and Miranda were, at this point, nowhere near her. Any futile callings to deny her fate were silenced by the subjugating fog… the poor woman still tried calling out nonetheless. The quaking sand now below her ribcage, the topless sinker continued to struggle… and with each tension, each jerking movement, the quicksand only responded by shifting around her, lowering her into its embrace…
- “Come on… I just got to… woah!”
A foolish move, Samantha whipped the flashlight out of her hands, landing on the sand, but out of her reach. It shined toward her, lighting up the sand between it and its former owner, another spectator to the topless woman’s fatal descent as she slipped past her ribcage, deeper into the muck that was entombing her.

- “Well… that’s gone…” Samantha rolled her eyes, pulling her hair out of her face with her right hand, as she kept her left hand atop the surface of the warm, sandy goop.
As Samantha’s generous bosom lay on the creamy sand, the pressure of the heavy muck was significantly weighing on her, making it more difficult for the poor woman to breathe.
- “Ugh… where… where are those two bitches…?”
The topless damsel could only curse to herself as she continued aimlessly to claw at the goopy sand in front of her. How cute, the way she tries vehemently to defy her fate. If only she could just accept that she had doomed herself to be smothered in the quicksand. As Samantha’s wet, sand-coated breasts slipped under the surface, lowering her down to her shoulders, the woman stopped to take a breath, the heavy goop causing her to become more fatigued quickly. Running out of options to free herself before her inevitable end, the damsel plunged her arms, which were sore from swaying and reaching for impossible lifelines all around her, into the gritty muck. Tragically, this only made things worse… or better… as the violet-haired fool only slid down ever deeper, plunging her arms into the paste-like ooze, trapping them. Before long, Samantha was sunk to her neck, her long, flowing, colorful hair lying on the wet sand, which quivered and bobbed with each grunt.
- “Come on… no… I can’t go… go down like this… shit…”
Gritting her teeth as the violet-haired woman shifted deep enough for the wet sand to touch her chin, Samantha not even thinking to tilt her head back to prolong her fated end… as she eyed her flashlight, as it lay on the surface of the quicksand… not even budging while she herself was about to perish in this sweet, sweet death trap…
- “Fuck… what I get for… how the fuck did those two idiots not have keymmmphhh…”
The quicksand slowly climbed over the woman’s deep-red lips, silencing her as her eyes darted all around her, the sifting muck rippling lightly with each downward shift. Poor, poor Samantha had all but given up trying to escape, her face sliding further into the golden sand, down to her glowing, brown eyes, getting one last look over at the flashlight before being forced to shut her eyes tight as she slowly slipped under, making contemptuous moans, muffled by the quicksand, as Samantha slowly shifted into the golden goop, her long, colorful locks following behind her, leaving only a small crater behind. The beautiful damsel did not even blow bubbles, the ultimate form of surrender against the quicksand. What a defiant woman… even if she was destined to die here…
In another part of the swamp, Aiko and Miranda spent the next hour traveling through the eerie darkness, wracked with guilt for having abandoned her, yet unaware that the first of their companions’ lives was cut short, following their decision to separate from the violet-haired woman. Continuing forward, the spectacled secretary hastily flashed her light all around her, seeing if the two of them were still walking near the fence toward the camp’s Eastern gate. To Miranda’s horror, there was no longer a fence. All that she could see through the fog was tall grass and foliage, the creatures of the night hiding from her, watching, waiting for the two of them to finally die in the dark. The secretary couldn’t keep this foreboding revelation to herself.
- “Aiko… I hate to say this… but I don’t think we’re near the camp anymore.” Miranda spoke, shining her light in Aiko’s face, causing the latter to recoil from the unexpected brightness in her face.
- “Ugh… Miranda! Don’t shine that flashlight in my face…” Aiko stuttered, stepping back as she instinctively covered her eyes with her free hand.
- “Sorry… sorry…”
Miranda sighed as she aimed her light down at the moss that her heels were balancing on. Yes, the camp owner and her clumsy secretary somehow walked right into a field of peat, covered in a thick layer of moss. Well, thick in some places… until it decided it was time for a woman to die, which, it soon would be for these two fools.
- “Hey… Aiko… where are we…?”
Miranda mumbled, asking Aiko, noticing that they were both standing on moss, all around them lurking patches of black, bottomless… hungry, no… ravenous peat. For them to suffocate and die was inevitable… but what fun would there be if the swamp didn’t hear their struggles… their screams…? What fun is a kill when it is quick? Why else would one decide to… well… why would someone be foolish enough to lurk in a swamp that is littered with bogs that have taken innumerable lives in the past, and many more in the present? Aiko would soon learn the foolishness of her folly, her arrogance, her desire to be one with nature being the very thing that eats her alive… but what fun is it when she doesn’t take as many to the grave with her? The camp owner waved her light all around her, only now noticing where she truly was, when her secretary continued wading through the unstable moss, before, inevitably…
SCCHHLLPP!
Down to her ribcage, Miranda sank, her flashlight still in her hand as she, once again, waved it in Aiko’s face, causing the Asian to back away in recoil.

- “Aiko… I…” The secretary nervously stuttered, seeing her now deadly predicament.
- “Aaaggh… Miranda, you need to stop that!” Aiko angrily retorted, it being the second time now that the secretary almost blinded her. “Anyway… I… well…”
As Aiko attempted to step toward the sinking secretary, the moss between them was quickly giving way from the weight of th Asian’s cautious, yet careless steps, causing the latter to quickly attempt to step back as the muck trapped her as well. Only shin deep in the muck, Aiko quickly leaned back toward the more sturdy ground behind her, crawling toward the moss that was able to hold her weight. A bold move, albeit it had cost the Asian her shoes in the process.
- “Miranda… it… doesn’t look like I can just reach you.” The now barefoot Aiko sighed, seeing that there was little she could do to save her ally.
- “But… I… I’m sinking! You’ve got to do something, right?” Miranda asked, keeping both her arms above the grumbling, squelching peat as it slowly slurped her down.
- “I… I…”
The Asian looked around, shining her light at anything around her that could be used to save her companion, such as a vine or a branch… but there did not seem to be anything within her current vicinity. Aiko had no choice… she needed to (temporarily) leave the clearing if she was going to find something.
- “Miranda… I have an idea, but you’re not going to like it…” Aiko looked back at the sinking secretary, who was now chest-deep in the quivering, squelching muck.
- “What is it?”
- “I… I’m going to have to leave you… it… it will only be for a little bit… I just need to grab a…” The Asian stuttered, not even sure of what to say at this point.
- “Leave me? Are you crazy?” Miranda shouted, unable to see the (half-baked) logic for Aiko to do so. “You… you’re not going to leave me like you did Samantha, right?”
Aiko silently nodded, as if to say, ‘Yes, I am leaving you… and you are likely going to die, but I’ll still ‘try’ to save you, but no, you are doomed, idiot…’ as she quickly walked back into the fog, the spectacled secretary’s eyes widening in surprise, her camp owner disappearing into the shadows.
- “Wait… Aiko! You… you can’t leave me! You… where are you going! Come back!”
Miranda could only yell out, pleading the Asian woman to return… but Aiko would, tragically, never return to her side. Instead, the panicked Asian woman’s incautious movements increased in pace, running through the fog, toward a field of thorny bushes, which thrashed and tore at her clothing, starting with her deep crimson top, torn down to nothing but useless fabric, followed by her jean shorts and shoes, which, despite their presumed durability, also were torn to pieces by the entangling thorns. Not even Aiko’s underwear was spared, as it too stood little chance against the stabbing barbs that quickly tore it away, leaving the poor Asian woman totally naked, as she felt her bare feet touch some soft, wet dirt.

- “Ugh… not here… no…”
Aiko could only frustratedly whimper to herself as she frantically tried to step back toward drier land, toward the skewering barbs. But sadly, her efforts were in vain. The naked, sweat-coated woman could only helplessly twist her body before falling deeper toward the center of the hungry morass. Aiko could only huff in desperation, believing that she had now doomed herself, or so she thought… looking up above her at the vines that were obscured by the thick, shadowy fog. Her flashlight still in her hand, the camp owner, who was currently sunk to her waist in the bog, her ‘POINT OF NO RETURN’ tattoo disappearing into the deadly ooze, shone her light up at the vines lingering above the hungry peat, letting out a sigh in exasperation, as the lifelines above her were quickly becoming more and more out of her reach with each passing moment.
- “AIKO? DID YOU… DID YOU FIND ANYTHING?” Miranda shouted from afar; the secretary’s screams carried through the air, faintly reaching the camp owner’s ears.
- “I…” Aiko didn’t know what to say… as she knew the vines couldn’t be grabbed, and that Miranda was most likely doomed, as was the equally abandoned Samantha.
- “AIKO? WHERE ARE YOU?!”

Little did Aiko realize… (or maybe, she did, heh…) that Miranda was now chin-deep in the thick, creamy peat that was slowly dining on her thin, athletic form, the woman unable to keep her head above the muck for much longer…
- “AIKO! I NEED HELP! No… no… nolblblblblblblmmmlblblblblblb…”
Alas, it was too late. The soft peat quivered and quaked with each downward movement Miranda made, as her head was quickly swallowed up by the bog, her heavy, peat-coated hands futilely clawing at the mire, as they slowly slipped into the mire… her flashlight, held tightly in her right hand, having disappeared forever into the mire alongside her. The peat slowly stilled, bubbles popping and dancing on the surface…
- “Miranda…? Miranda! No… oh dear…”
The camp owner could only sulk in horror, as she was now completely alone. The huffed shouts of her secretary were silenced by the unforgiving swamp, punishing her for disturbing the serenity of nature. Now, chest-deep in the muck, her bare, mud-coated bosom slipping under the mire when she flashed her light in front of her. To her surprise, she found a vine simply lying on the edge of the mire in front of her. Aiko’s eyes lit up with a small spark of hope as she began clawing through the thick, cement-like peat toward what she believed was her lifeline, her only hope of survival. Suck down to her shoulders, the Asian woman did not give up, even if it was more convenient (and more entertaining) for her to yield and let the quicksand end her life. Now down to her chin, the mucky peat bubbling all around her… Aiko finally grabbed the rope, just as her mouth slipped under the morass. Gaining a firm grip, the woman began to pull!
- “Mmmmmmphh! Mmmmmahhh!! Hah… come on… come on…”

Quickly, the Asian woman pulled on the vine, gradually revealing more and more of her dirty, nude form, the wet peat dripping off her slender body with each passing second, up until she was about chest-deep. Truth be told, Aiko was a surprisingly strong woman. With a sturdy enough rope, she could easily haul herself out of the quicksand without much issue. Sadly, the vine the woman had grabbed was far from sturdy, and in the midst of her extraction, a loud ‘SNAP’ rang out as the vine split in two, Aiko yanked back in recoil, returning to her fatal descent into the morass.
- “Ohhh… oh no… no… no! No! No! No!”
The Asian woman could only huff in denial. In a panic, Aiko squirmed back and forth, her flashlight in one hand and the broken vine in the other, keeping her arms, dripping with goopy peat, above her head as she frantically squirmed and tossed herself around, the peat rippling with her motions. Tilting her head back slightly, yet still facing forward toward the edge of the quicksand, Aiko could only hurriedly grab the peat in front of her, splashing it around as her face began to disappear into a mucky crater that was forming around her, the Asian woman’s eyes bulging in horror as her final moments drew near.

- “Mmmmmph! Mmmph… mmmmmlblblblblb…”
Amongst her panicked, terrorized muffles, the camp owner was quickly swallowed up, the crater that formed closing over the top of her head. Dropping the flashlight onto the bog’s surface, Aiko attempted in vain to try and grab the rest of the vine that remained on drier land, forever out of her reach, meeting the same fate as the two beautiful, lovable ladies that the camp owner foolishly led astray to their own beautiful, horrible deaths.
Meanwhile, over at the golden sand pit that served as Samantha’s tomb, the flashlight, half-buried in the sand, eventually ran out of battery, fading as it became one with the shadows…
